Does anyone know how to get out of doing a W.E.P.? I ONLY receive food stamp benefits and I just registered for a training class and IU get a letter saying that I need to attend a mandatory W.E.P. There is absolutely no future to WEP assignments whatsoever. Can anyone help? I don't have doctor's notes to bring. Besides that is there another legitimate way to get out of this nightmare? I'm in New York and in the SNAP food program.

Does anyone know why they NEVER EVER pick up their phone at the food stamp offices in NYC?

Also can someone tell me all of the necessary documents that I need to apply for food stamp benefits? (Single, adult, no income, living with relatives)

Also can the food stamp office assist in getting me school training/employment?
